Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Arlington, VA to serve clients with a friendly, professional security presence. You will patrol transportation facilities, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service to passengers and staff while upholding company policies.

Responsibilities include incident response, documenting events, and maintaining logs. Candidates should be 18+ for unarmed roles and comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to facility clients, visitors, passengers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, parking-related matters, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of parking areas, access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, observe vehicle and pedestrian activity, and report suspicious conditions, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $21.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
