Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Chesapeake, VA. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a secure environment at a technology-focused location.

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and operational needs.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
