As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a grocery-focused location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication in both English and Spanish. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of grocery store sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity to help support loss-prevention efforts and maintain orderly operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
