Allied Universal in Fontana, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Patrol Driver). You will deliver customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors, while conducting patrols and helping deter incidents with a visible, professional presence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 1 year of security experience, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Evening shifts are available, with a pay rate of $19 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate to appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Assist with access control, visitor verification, and site entry compliance.

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM
• Sat: 09:00 PM - 05:30 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology and manufacturing facilities, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, facility hazards, access concerns, and security‑related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Assist with access control, visitor verification, and compliance with site entry requirements while helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
