Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting unauthorized access, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and campus contacts.

What You’ll Do:
