Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, families, and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, directing guests and reporting unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events; notify appropriate personnel when needed.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate information to supervisors.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide welcoming customer service to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, families, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing guests and reporting unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
