Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver to serve in Leesburg, VA. You will provide armed security, customer service, and incident response at designated sites, with a schedule built around fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts.

Earn $24.00 per hour with opportunities to increase hours. This role offers flexible scheduling, potential progression to full-time roles through paid training, and access to Allied Universal’s benefits and technology

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen individuals, belongings, and authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with applicable procedures, reporting prohibited items, irregularities, and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and policy violations, and maintain required certifications and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Leesburg, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
