Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Leesburg, VA. You will provide site security, manage access control, and respond to incidents while supporting a fixed anchor shift and optional additional shifts.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver DCJS in Leesburg, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:15 AM - 09:15 PM
• Sun 11:45 AM - 05:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and government personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen visitors and authorized personnel in accordance with established access‑control procedures and report prohibited items, suspicious activity, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, requesting additional support as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned government facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A DCJS license is required in Virginia.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
