Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at West Finley, PA. This role offers flexible hours, part-time shifts, and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access discrepancies according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Access Control in West Finley, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
