Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue passes, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Control access to restricted areas in accordance with procedures to deter unauthorized entry and protect critical infrastructure.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations with calm, clear communication; notify appropriate personnel and file reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter; document observations and report unusual conditions.

• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies at a utility location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor or contractor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Control access to restricted areas in accordance with established procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support protection of critical infrastructure.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
