Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control in Richfield, OH. The role offers reliable fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, helping to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.75 per hour with a supportive, flexible schedule designed for income stability and opportunities to grow toward a full-time schedule at the site.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen as required by employment and law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control access to restricted areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian activity; direct individuals to check-in locations and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate per procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; document observations and report concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Controlin Richfield, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorization, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian activity; direct individuals to appropriate check-in locations; and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; document observations and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
