Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Access Authorization in Rincon, GA. You will guard facilities, manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and deliver professional service to employees and visitors at a manufacturing and industrial site.

This full-time position features a night schedule (Mon–Thu 10:00 PM–6:00 AM) with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access points, verify IDs, issue visitor credentials, and maintain entry records.
• Observe activity at gates and access areas and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations.

Security Officer Access Authorization

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, maintain entry records, and direct guests in accordance with location requirements.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, delivery, and contractor activity at gates and designated access areas; communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
