Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Mobile Patrol Driver in Paramus, NJ. This full-time role involves patrolling a premier retail/mall location, providing customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 20+ pounds, and a high school diploma or equivalent. CPR preferred; background checks and drug screening apply.

As a Security Guard Mobile Patrol Driver in Paramus, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, tenants, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and directions while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
