• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and mall personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and location policies.
• Respond to incidents and concerns in a calm, professional manner; document observations and actions.
• Carry out regular foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with traffic flow during busy periods and events.
• Report maintenance concerns and security issues to appropriate personnel per location procedures.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and tenants. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or mall personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to location procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout common areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support traffic flow during busy shopping periods, special events, deliveries, and/or tenant operations.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues to appropriate personnel in accordance with location policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
