Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Driver Reporting in Paramus, NJ. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and maintain a visible security presence while serving shoppers, tenants, and staff.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, parking facilities, exterior walkways, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, lost and found inquiries, and directions while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
