Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Luxury Retail in Denver, CO to protect clients in a high-end retail environment. This part-time position offers a structured schedule and competitive pay, with opportunities to advance through our Claim a Shift platform and cross-train into additional duties.

You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, deliver exceptional service to guests and staff, and report observations clearly while adhering to site procedures and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions; report concerns to store leadership or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and in accordance with site procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations; communicate information during shift handoffs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to appropriate store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while following established site procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
