Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by executing security procedures and site policies.

• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, report irregularities per policy.
• Communicate with employees, visitors, and contractors and address maintenance or security issues.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and/or report access irregularities in accordance with site policies and post instructions.
• Support a professional environment by communicating with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing directions, answering questions, and/or reporting maintenance or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
