Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Denver, PA. You will help manage entry points, monitor access, and provide excellent service to clients, shoppers, employees, and visitors.

The role offers flexible weekend hours and the opportunity to use our Shift-claim platform to build your schedule. You’ll work in a visible, customer-focused position requiring strong communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the retail location, including verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining applicable access records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Assist with protecting merchandise, property, and personnel by reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

You will interact with customers, employees, and visitors while providing exceptional service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
