Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Logistics Access in Summerville, SC. This full-time role supports a distribution facility with unarmed patrols, access control, and customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers.

Responsibilities include monitoring entry points, documenting activity, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security breaches while using tablet or computer tools for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening as required.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and driver activity, and reporting unusual conditions in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe and report security-related concerns, damaged property, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Guard Logistics Access in Summerville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and assist employees and visitors with professional service and communication. Use computer or tablet tools to document activity and support daily operations while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

• Mon: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Tue: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Wed: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Thur: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun: 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
