As a Security Guard - Healthcare Location in Capitol Heights, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting staff and visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, working collaboratively with your team, and putting people first in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $23.76 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
