Allied Universal in Romeoville, IL is seeking a full-time Security Officer to protect a logistics and distribution site. Pay is $22.66 per hour with night shifts on a Thur–Sun schedule, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.

You will provide customer service, deter unauthorized activity, respond to incidents, monitor access, and log observations. Minimum age 18, HS diploma, background check, and drug screening are required; training and benefits are provided.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access and visitor activity; verify credentials and keep logs/reports.
• Assist with the orderly movement of personnel, visitors, and deliveries and communicate concerns to site contacts.

• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related observations and incidents.
• Support the orderly movement of personnel, visitors, and deliveries while communicating concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
