Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Reporting in San Jose, CA. You will monitor and patrol facilities, provide excellent customer service, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors while upholding company values. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime and Night shifts across multiple days. You will use smart tools and reporting to document activities and incidents as part of routine security

Qualifications

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.
