Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Crime Prevention in San Jose, CA to protect clients across tech and related industries. • Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and report access-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following post orders and escalation protocols.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will document observations, respond to security-related concerns, and work collaboratively with site personnel. What You'll Do:

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, manufacturing-adjacent areas, parking locations, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
