Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology/semiconductor site by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify access, and maintain logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and operational concerns with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology and semiconductor business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observations, incidents, and operational concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• X-Ray Screening Experience is preferred.
• A State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
