Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard full-time unarmed patrol in Memphis, TN. You will patrol industrial locations, deter incidents, and deliver strong customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $19.04 / Hour. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Allied Universal emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach on every shift.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Drug screen required; licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry requirements, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence and promptly reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
