Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol for Springfield, TN. You will provide customer service, monitor access points, and conduct patrols to deter incidents at a manufacturing/industrial site.

The role requires compliance with site protocols, the ability to communicate clearly, and the flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays as part of a split schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, facility entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions and security concerns to site contacts.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in accordance with site requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.93 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, facility entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, facility hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
