• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, school policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, student or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures during school operations and events.
• Document incidents, observations, and policy violations accurately and communicate relevant information to designated school personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
