Job summary

Allied Universal® in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Security Guard for a Full Time Evening Shift to protect financial institutions among other client sites. You will monitor, deter, and respond to security incidents, while providing outstanding customer service to clients and visitors.

As a valued member of Allied Universal, you’ll work an evening schedule 2:30 PM–10:30 PM, perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and complete clear incident reports, contributing to a safe and welcoming

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the business, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
