Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures at a financial institution site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity per site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports for site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Cincinnati, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
