Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Plainfield, IN. You will safeguard clients across utilities sectors, perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Schedule includes evenings and weekends with a steady work rhythm. Minimum requirements include 18+ to apply for unarmed roles, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted operational areas and verify visitor, contractor, and employee authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel, visitors, and public responders.

• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
