Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN. You will serve and safeguard clients across healthcare environments, performing unarmed patrols, monitoring access, and delivering excellent customer service while upholding safety policies.

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions; CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. You must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be subject to a background check

• A drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, labs, offices, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain controlled access to restricted areas.
• Document observations and incidents and communicate information to Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and communication while working with integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $17.80 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare diagnostics environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and assist with maintaining controlled access to restricted areas.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
