Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Incident Response in West Columbia, SC to safeguard clients across industries. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site security procedures.
• Conduct routine and random unarmed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and track visitor and contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear patrol and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain awareness of visitor and contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
