What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reports and communication systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
