Allied Universal in Columbia, SC is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Site Entry to safeguard client sites and provide excellent customer service. This full-time role includes scheduled night shifts and requires carrying out security procedures, responding calmly to incidents, and patrolling premises to deter risk.

Minimum one year armed security or related experience, high school diploma, and ability to obtain any required licenses.

Qualifications

Pay Rate: $18.96 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 09:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 09:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 09:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 09:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
