Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Front Desk Alarm Monitoring in Milpitas, CA to greet visitors, manage access, monitor cameras and alarms, and respond to incidents with professionalism and clear communication.

You will support front-desk operations, maintain logs, verify IDs, and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders while upholding a safe, customer-focused environment.

Qualificações

• At least one year of security-related experience is required (or equivalent).
• Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet visitors, contractors, delivery personnel, and employees; verify IDs and authorize access per site policies.
• Maintain front-desk reception activities, visitor logs, badges, calls, and directing guests.
• Monitor access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and related equipment; report issues per procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations; coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Maintain accurate records and deter unauthorized access to support logistics operations.

As a Security Guard Full Time Front Desk Alarm Monitoring in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, and respond to alarms or incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping maintain an organized, professional environment. What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, contractors, delivery personnel, and employees; verifying identification and authorizing access in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Manage front-desk reception activities, including maintaining visitor logs, issuing visitor badges, answering incoming calls, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or locations.
• Monitor access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity, access concerns, or equipment issues according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergency notifications, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Support security-related procedures within a logistics and distribution location by maintaining accurate records, communicating clearly with personnel, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
