Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Risk Recognition in Bell, CA. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, respond to concerns, and deliver professional customer service to government locations and other sites.

The role requires at least two years of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, documenting observations, incidents, and unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and supporting site-specific protocols.
