Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation under federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualifications considered in compliance with applicable laws for criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A driving license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, production-adjacent spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly work environment by reporting hazards, damaged equipment, unauthorized access attempts, and other security-related concerns to site leadership.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
