Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Guard Front Desk Alarm Coordinator to greet visitors, manage access, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents at a commercial real estate location. You will provide professional service and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for tenants and staff.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory experience and at least five years in security, plus HS diploma.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and greet visitors, verify ID, issue visitor credentials, and maintain entry records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems; report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, tenant requests, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel or responders.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming presence to deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Front Desk Alarm Coordinator in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related systems, and provide outstanding customer service. You will serve as a professional, approachable presence while helping to address incidents and communicate with building staff. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Staff the front desk and greet visitors in a professional manner, verify identification and visitor authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and/or communication systems; report unusual activity and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting the orderly operation of the property.

Minimum Requirements

• Supervisory experience is required.
• Five or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
