Qualifications

• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors and property management by following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office buildings, lobbies, common areas, parking facilities and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with access control.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem-solving; document observations and notify relevant personnel.
• Complete daily activity reports and communicate with leadership and site representatives.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access and Alarm in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment for tenants and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, use technology to document activity, and deliver attentive customer service. Pay Rate: $16.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial office buildings, lobbies, common areas, parking facilities, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control and directing guests as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established protocols.
• Complete daily activity reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
