• Background check and drug screening required by law.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations.

• Document incidents and patrol activity in reports and inform site management.

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping create a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property buildings, lobbies, parking areas, loading docks, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity through required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
