Job Description

As a Security Guard – Flex Media Facility Patrol in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to visitors and employees. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, contributing to a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.


• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.


• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.


• Collaborate with other team members and/or site personnel to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets at the location.


• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.


• CPR certification is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
