Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Computer Reporting in Sterling, VA, to monitor and protect a dynamic technology/media location. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a dynamic technology and media location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and communicate unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced workplace.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred to be able to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Preferred to be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
