You will provide customer service to employees and visitors while patrolling, monitoring access points, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

This driving position offers flexible scheduling with day and evening shifts, an hourly rate of $19.00, and opportunities to join a team guided by integrity, teamwork, and reliability.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed during routine operations and incidents.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
