Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Asset Protection in Chicago, IL. You will provide security services at manufacturing&industrial locations, maintain a visible presence, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule with evening shifts and requires a valid driver's license. Pay is $21.00 per hour with opportunities to learn and grow through our Shift-claiming platform.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, and vehicles, verifying authorization as directed, and reporting unusual activity.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
