Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part Time Licensed Unarmed Security Officer in Aurora, IL. You will provide customer service, respond to incidents, conduct interior and exterior patrols, monitor access, and maintain logs according to site procedures.

Minimum 1 year security experience, suitable for 18+ with a high school diploma. A background check and drug screen are required.

Job Schedule:

• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
