Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Bicycle Patrol in Santa Clara, CA. You will provide customer service to visitors and tenants, and conduct foot and bike patrols at a retail/shopping center location.

The role offers fixed anchor shifts, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, enabling you to increase earnings and gain experience across sites. A Guard Card and high school diploma are preferred.

Qualificações

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be able to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail and shopping center location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of shopping areas, common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas; observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while maintaining professional communication with site management and Allied Universal leadership.

$25.50 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
