Allied Universal in Granville, OH is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol to provide reliable, flexible hours at a designated site, with the option to pick up additional shifts using our scheduling platform.

This role focuses on customer service, access control, unarmed patrols of facilities, and incident response. Requirements include a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent; background checks and a drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and other documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Help maintain an orderly industrial location by observing loading docks, vehicle traffic areas, and restricted spaces, while communicating professionally with personnel and following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrolin Granville, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.83 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
