As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit environment, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help foster a welcoming environment while working with integrity, reliability, agility, and teamwork. This armed position requires a Law Enforcement Officer License.

Pay Rate: $34.70 - $35.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to transit personnel, passengers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned transit facilities, platforms, stations, yards, access points, and surrounding perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate transit personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol observations, incidents, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
