You will conduct armed patrols, monitor access, deter incidents, and respond to emergencies with calm, clear communication.

Qualifications

• Must possess Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Must possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training required.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures at transit locations.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of stations, platforms, facilities, and surrounding perimeters.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with transit personnel and law enforcement as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and deter unauthorized activity.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with laws, licensing, policy, and site procedures.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional communication and customer service. This role requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit and Law Enforcement Officer License. Guided by integrity, teamwork, and a caring culture, you will contribute to a secure environment for transit employees and passengers.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $33.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit locations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of stations, platforms, facilities, and surrounding perimeters, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with transit personnel and law enforcement as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activity.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policy, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
