• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Background histories considered per applicable laws.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the public by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of government offices and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with directing authorized visitors and deliveries.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and coordinate with site personnel and public agencies as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government offices, public areas, access points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing authorized visitors and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities; coordinate with site personnel and public agencies when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
